LETTER TO THE EDITOR: If You Didn’t Support Robertson In The Primary, Please Support Him In The General

Dear Editor,

A few months ago, my husband and I wrote a letter asking our friends in the 19th Middlesex District to vote in a hotly contested primary. On Primary Day, I was happy to see so many people voting and participating and excited when my good friend, Dave Robertson, secured the Democratic slot for the general election. I understand that initially people may have been supporting other candidates in that primary race but my hope is that since the primary, those people have spent time reading the op-eds and watching the recent debate and learning the positions (or lack of positions) the candidates in the general election hold.

It is with that in mind that I again feel compelled to write a letter asking my friends and neighbors and fellow constituents to vote next Tuesday, November 6th, for Dave Robertson. Over these last few months, Dave has made his stances clear, from NOT supporting sanctuary cities to his specific plans for Route 38. I believe that Dave will be a thoughtful Representative for our District and will always keep our communities in mind when making decisions that will affect us. He is not working off of a scripted agenda given to him — he is working for us, in his own words, with his own thoughts and plans.

Although it is true that any of the candidates would be considered a “freshman” representative if they win, Dave is the only one with the skill and background to make the varsity team on his first try-out. That is who I want to represent me and everyone I care and love at the State level. Please vote for Dave Robertson on Tuesday, November 6th.

Thank you,
Jomarie F. O’Mahony

  1. I agree Jomarie! There is NO question about who to vote for in this election. This may be the first time I have ever been on the same side of an election as my Democrat neighbors! Hahahaha.

  2. As a volunteer with iPods for Wounded Veterans I’ve interacted with Dave Robertson on several occasions. I’ve found him to be available, energetic, conservative and smart. Residents of Wilmington and Tewksbury using good thinking will cast their vote for Dave Robertson.
