TEWKSBURY, MA — Teamsters Local Union 25 recently endorsed State Representative candidate Mark Kratman (D-Tewksbury) in the 19th Middlesex race.
“Teamsters Local 25 Officers, Agents and the entire membership are pleased to endorse your campaign for State Representative for the 19th Middlesex District. Teamsters Local 25 is an organization of 12,000 members from across Greater Boston and Eastern Massachusetts,” reads the endorsement. “As an Executive Vice President of NAGE Local 368, you understand the importance of worker rights, fair wages, and benefits of union membership. Once elected, Teamsters Local 25 knows we can count on you as a strong voice and ally on Beacon Hill for issues important to our Members and all working families.”
Kratman previously announced endorsements the Massachusetts AFL-CIO, the Massachusetts Nurses Association, the Massachusetts Teachers Association, Building Wreckers Local 1421, SEIU Local 509, the Massachusetts Organization of State Engineers & Scientists, and the Tewksbury Fire Fighters Union. Kratman also has the endorsements of Tewksbury’s State Senator Barbara L’Italien and Lowell’s State Representative Dave Nangle as well as Tewksbury Town Moderator Jayne Miller and the entire Tewksbury Planning Board.
Kratman, an administrator with the Massachusetts Highway Department, is currently serving his fourth year on the Tewksbury Board of Selectmen, having been elected to his second term this past April. He serves as Chair of the Town’s Economic Development Committee.
Kratman is also a member of the Tewksbury Patriotic Activities Committee (Vice Chair), the Board of Directors for the Wilmington-Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce, the Tewksbury Knights of Columbus, the Tewksbury Lions Club, and the Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks.
