TEWKSBURY, MA — The Massachusetts Teachers Association (MTA) recently endorsed State Representative candidate Mark Kratman (D-Tewksbury) for the 19th Middlesex District seat.
“Mark Kratman will be an outstanding state representative for the 19th Middlesex District,” said MTA President Barbara Madeloni. “As the father of three public school children, Mark is committed to advocating for our students and for our public schools, colleges and universities. He will stand up for working people, and he will do all he can to ensure the success of families and communities throughout the Commonwealth.”
Kratman previously announced endorsements the Building Wreckers Local 1421, SEIU Local 509, and the Tewksbury Fire Fighters Union. Kratman also has the endorsements of Tewksbury’s State Senator Barbara L’Italien and Lowell’s State Representative Dave Nangle as well as Tewksbury Town Moderator Jayne Miller and the entire Tewksbury Planning Board.
Kratman, an administrator with the Massachusetts Highway Department, is currently serving his fourth year on the Tewksbury Board of Selectmen, having been elected to his second term this past April. He serves as Chair of the Town’s Economic Development Committee.
Kratman is also a member of the Tewksbury Patriotic Activities Committee (Vice Chair), the Board of Directors for the Wilmington-Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce, the Tewksbury Knights of Columbus, the Tewksbury Lions Club, and the Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks.
