TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury Firefighters Local 1647 announced its endorsement of State Representative candidate Mark Kratman in a Facebook post on Wednesday night.
“Mark has shown to be a strong supporter of public safety, and we believe if elected he will continue that support at the State House,” reads the endorsement.
Kratman has also previously announced endorsements from Tewksbury’s State Senator Barbara L’Italien, as well as Tewksbury Town Moderator Jayne Miller and the entire Tewksbury Planning Board.
Kratman, an administrator with the Massachusetts Highway Department, is currently serving his fourth year on the Tewksbury Board of Selectmen, having been elected to his second term this past April. He serves as Chair of the Town’s Economic Development Committee.
Kratman is also a member of the Tewksbury Patriotic Activities Committee (Vice Chair), the Board of Directors for the Wilmington-Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce, the Tewksbury Knights of Columbus, the Tewksbury Lions Club, and the Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks.
