WILMINGTON, MA — Woodland HomeWorks is pleased to share a follow‑up announcement regarding its Community Roof Giveaway, following this week’s reveal of this year’s recipient.
The winner, Al, is a retired Wilmington firefighter, Navy veteran, and long‑time community member known for his service, kindness, and commitment to helping others. After receiving an overwhelming number of nominations and messages, Woodland HomeWorks says the community response has been extraordinary.
“We’re truly amazed by how many people reached out, shared stories, and supported this giveaway,” said Woodland HomeWorks. “It shows how strong and connected Wilmington really is.”
Woodland HomeWorks also extends its gratitude to CertainTeed, the material sponsor for the project. CertainTeed’s contribution of roofing materials makes it possible for the company to provide Al with a safe, durable, high‑quality roof at no cost.
