WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for July 26 & July 27, 2026

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, July 26, 2026 and Monday, July 27, 2026:

Sunday, July 26, 2026

Police made contact with juveniles on three bikes near the train tracks on Richmond Street. Police sent them on their way. (2:16pm)

A caller reported an ATV and dirt bike were riding in the roadway at Wilton Drive and Shawsheen Avenue. Police responded, but could not locate (3:14pm) Police later received a call for an ATV and dirt bike on Aldrich Road. Both failed to stop, but police needed to continue on to a medical call. (4:04pm)

A caller in the area of West Street and Lowell Street reported a group of seven or so juveniles on bikes were stopping vehicles in traffic, giving them the finger, and doing wheelies next to their vehicles. Juvenile threw water bottle after vehicle’s windshield. Police located group on Elm Street and advised them to cease behavior. They denied any wrong doing. (7:25pm)

Monday, July 27, 2026

A resident turned in a BB gun for disposal. (1:06pm)

A juvenile fishing at Town Beach reported his fishing hook got stuck into a duck’s wing. Line was cut, but hook and bobber are still attached to duck’s wing. Duck swam away. Animal Control Officer will be notified. (5:05pm)

A caller reported parties were playing pickleball afterhours at the Senior Center court. Police responded and advised parties, which agreed to leave. (9:38pm)
