WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, July 20, 2026:
Public Buildings Department reported vandalism to the lifeguard stand on Town Beach. (12:57pm)
A caller reported a vehicle just hit her vehicle near the Middle School and drove off. Police responded and located vehicle. Both operators had conflicting stories. (2:56pm)
A customer drove off with gas pump and hose attached to vehicle. No gas spill. Police got in touch with vehicle’s owner from Tewksbury. Her son was driving the vehicle and subsequently returned to the gas station. Employee was able to reattach pump. (4:52pm)
J. White (53, Wilmington) was served a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License and Using An Electronic Device While Operating A Motor Vehicle (1st Offense). (4:54pm)
