WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, May 24, 2026:
A caller reported 15-20 people fighting on Grove Avenue, in between baby beach and the main beach. Individuals were gone by the time police arrived. (12:06am)
Police received report that a car group kicked off out of Melrose is en route to Industrial Way in Wilmington. 40-45 cars expected. Wilmington Police notified Woburn, Burlington and Andover Police. Wilmington Police moved vehicles out of Industrial Way. Vehicles gathered at Mobil on the Run and dispersed in multiple directions. (12:33am)
Fire Department and RMLD responded to a pole transformer fire on Bay Street. (7:05pm)
Walk-in party reported his wallet with $300 and three credit cards was missing when he picked up his car for service from McGovern Hyundai on Main Street. (7:06pm)
