LETTER: Steve Hunt — Last Year’s Select Board Race’s VERY Close Runner-Up — Endorses Rob Fasulo For Select Board

Dear Editor,

As a lifelong Wilmington resident and a town employee for over 22 years-and as someone who ran for Select Board last year to help bring a new voice forward-I would like to encourage Wilmington voters to join me in supporting Rob Fasullo.

Rob is a longtime Wilmington resident who believes in thoughtful growth while preserving the small-town character that our community has worked so hard to maintain.

I first noticed Rob at Select Board meetings, where he consistently came prepared with facts, treated differing perspectives with respect, and demonstrated a strong respect for the process. He is someone who engages with residents openly and speaks knowledgeably and thoughtfully on the issues that matter most.

Rob has been clear about his commitment to responsible growth, with a strong emphasis on fiscal responsibility. This is reflected in his advocacy for seniors and his willingness to ask tough questions, including around the MBTA housing mandate.

Through many conversations, it has also become clear to me that Rob strongly supports our police, fire, public works, public buildings staff, and teachers-many of whom are Wilmington residents themselves.

Over the past several months, I have heard many residents express concerns and questions about the current board. For those looking for change, I believe Rob offers a thoughtful, balanced approach. He will listen, engage, and make informed decisions in the best interest of Wilmington.

For these reasons, I respectfully ask you to join me and my family in voting for Rob Fasullo for Select Board.
