2026 Wilmington Firecracker 5K and Family Fun Run Set For June 25, Registration Now Open

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Fourth of July Committee would like to invite you to participate in this year’s Sixth Annual Firecracker 5K & Family Fun Run on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 6:30pm at the Wilmington Town Common! The race is part of Wilmington’s annual Fun on the Fourth Celebration – a beloved tradition honoring our country and community!

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top overall race finishers, including a $100 cash prize for the 1st place overall male and female finishers! Prizes will also be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age group. After the race, all participants are encouraged to enjoy live music on the Town Common, as well as all the food and entertainment opportunities offered as part of the Fun on the Fourth Celebration.

The race will be professionally chip timed by RaceWire and there will be t-shirts for participants while supplies last. Participants are encouraged to register before April 30, 2026 to take advantage of the discounted early registration fee.
