WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington School Committee is holding a meeting this Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 7pm in the High School’s Large Instruction Room.
The meeting will be streamed live on WCTV.org and on WCTV.
There are several noteworthy items on the agenda, including:
- School Committee will recognize the district’s 2021-2022 retirees.
- School Committee will conduct a second reading of the WHS Handbook for next school year.
- School Committee will consider approving a field trip to Peru for the 2023-2024 school year.
- School Committee will consider accepting $6,240 in technology grants from the Wilmington Educational Foundation.
- Superintendent Dr. Glenn Brand will provide his regular update, including information on a Joint Town Meeting on school safety; a FY21 End-of-Year financial report; and “Celebrating The Good.”
- School Committee will hear a social studies curriculum adoption presentation.
The School Committee will also hear any public comments, correspondence, and subcommittee reports.
