WILMINGTON, MA — June Sutton, age 96, of Tewksbury, formerly of Wilmington, died peacefully, Thursday, March 24, 2022.
Born July 7, 1925, in Waltham, MA, June was the daughter of the late Emily and Henry McLennan. She was raised and educated in Somerville, MA where she met and married Theodore Sutton in 1945. They moved to Hathaway Acres in Wilmington with their two young daughters in 1953 and retired to Tewksbury in 1998.
June was the beloved wife and best friend of Ted Sutton for nearly 65 years prior to his death in 2009. She was the devoted mother of Donna Gill and her husband Joseph and Jan Sutton all of Tewksbury. Loving grandmother of Brian Gill and his wife Monica of Ayer and Amy Parenteau and her husband Keith of Litchfield, NH. June was the very proud great-grandmother of Emily, Michael, Matthew and Ryan. Sister of the late Charles McLennan.
Services will be private.
