Wilmington’s Abundant Life Christian School & Learning Center Announces Scott Stevens As Next Principal

WILMINGTON, MA — The Senior Leadership Team of Abundant Life Christian School & Learning Center (ALCS) is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Scott Stevens as school Principal. From 1993 to 2010, Mr. Stevens was employed as Math and Science Teacher at Abundant Life. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Stevens back to our school. We are very excited to have him home!

Mr. Stevens will join the other members of our Senior Leadership Team to continue to strive toward achieving our God-given vision of transforming lives through discipleship and academic excellence in a loving, nurturing community. Over the past twelve years, Mr. Stevens has held several positions that have prepared him well for his new role as Principal.

For more than 10 years, Mr. Stevens held various positions at Lexington Christian Academy (LCA) in Lexington, Massachusetts. He held the position of Director of Student Life at LCA where he played the role of Dean of Students. He was the Director of Interim Program at LCA where he was responsible for recruiting faculty and managing the budget. Mr. Stevens served as the boys’ varsity soccer coach and he Directed the Boarding Program. He also held the position of Director of Athletics and Summer Programs. He was responsible for developing these programs, recruiting coaches and staff, and managing the associated budgets. Mr. Stevens was also the Director of Auxiliary Programs at Holy Innocents Episcopal School in Georgia where he directed the after-school enrichment programs.

ALCS is a private Christian school located in the heart of Wilmington, Massachusetts. They enroll students from over twenty local Massachusetts and New Hampshire communities. Since 1982, ALCS has delivered on its mission to Glorify God in partnership with families and churches to equip students as leaders who think critically, grow spiritually, and develop relationally. From a Biblical worldview, they prepare the whole student with quality instruction and individual attention to empower them to reach their full potential and serve the greater community.
