POLICE LOG for January 21: Drug Arrest; Catalytic Converter Stolen From School Vehicle; Injured Bird Rescued

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, January 21, 2022:
  • Animal Control Officer picked up an injured bird from North Street and transported to Rowley Animal Hospital. (11:17am)
  • A catalytic converter was taken from a school vehicle at the May School on Concord Street. (12:29pm)
  • A resident reported his girlfriend caused damage to his property. (1:09pm)
  • Stephen Michael Ritucci (44, Wilmington) was arrested for OUI Drugs; Negligent Operation Of A Motor Vehicle; Leaving The Scene Of Property Damage; and Possession Of A Class B Drug (Subsequent Offense). A caller reported a vehicle struck her mailbox and continued on. (2:38pm)
  • Police responded to a fatal car vs. train crash on Middlesex Avenue. (5:54pm)
