WINNING STREAK IN WILMINGTON? ANOTHER Wilmington Resident Wins $1 Million On Scratch Ticket

WILMINGTON, MA — William Rice, of Wilmington, is the latest $1 million prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “The Fastest Road to $1 Million” instant game.

Rice chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (less tax withholdings). He plans on using part of his winnings to take a vacation with his wife.

His winning ticket was purchased at Sunrise Market (327 Main Street) in Wilmington. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.

There are eighty three additional $1 million prizes still available in “The Fastest Road to $1 Million” $30 instant game.

Earlier this month, Wilmington resident Joseph DeCristoforo also won $1 million on a “Cash in a Flash” scratch ticket he purchased in Tewksbury. A few months ago, a Wilmington convenience store sold two $1 million lottery tickets.
