WILMINGTON, MA — The Massachusetts Lottery recently announced that Nicholas Rocco, of Medford, is the latest grand prize winner in the lottery’s “The Fastest Road to $1 Million” instant ticket game.
Rocco purchased his winning ticket in Wilmington at Nouria (586 Main Street), inside the Shell Gas Station at the Main Street/Lowell Street split.
This is the same location that just sold a $1 million Mega Millions lottery ticket earlier this week. The identity of that winner has not yet been publicly released.
The store will receive two $10,000 bonuses as a result of the two big winning tickets.
Rocco chose to receive his prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (less tax withholdings).
There are 98 additional $1 million instant prizes still available in the “The Fastest Road to $1 Million” $30 instant game, which also has second chance drawing opportunities to win up to $1 million.
