Weather: A chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

In The Community: Shawsheen Tech Cheerleaders are holding a Car Wash fundraiser from 9am to 2pm at Merrimack Valley Pavilion (MVP) in Tewksbury (2087 Main Street). $5 per wash.
