This is in response to Mr. Joe Dunn’s letter of January 17, 2018 in the Town Crier. Mr. Dunn expressed concern with Representative Jim Miceli’s voting record in November, specifically on November 13 on the criminal justice reform bill. Mr. Dunn cited the House Journal as the source of his information. The information Mr. Dunn provided, however, was incomplete and therefor misleading.
Voting on the bill took place over 2 days, not 1 as stated by Mr. Dunn. And Representative Miceli participated in 10 of the 14 votes on the bill, including the most important final vote for passage.
Additionally, if Mr. Dunn had reviewed the entire legislative year in the source he referenced, he would have found Representative Miceli voting on well over 93% of the roll calls for the year.
And, throughout the year, Jim has continued to provide the highest level of constituent services of any member of the legislature.
