LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Cimaglia Says Enough With The Personal Attacks Over Global Proposal

(NOTE: Mr. Cimaglia’s letter is written in response to Mr. Champoux’s letter, which was in response to this letter.)

Dear Editor,

Well said, Mr. Champoux. It’s too bad that some people will say anything, about anybody, to get their way. Social media can be such a great tool, but unfortunately some people are willing to post what they don’t have the gumption to say to people’s faces, and others won’t even sign their names to what they are willing to write. Anyway, I haven’t seen this kind of smear campaign since the Board of Selectmen denied a liquor license for the Mobil-on-the-Run on Lowell Street in 2008. Go figure.

If you don’t think a gas station, convenient store and restaurant belongs on commercially zoned property located next to Route 93, it’s your right to speak out against it. But nobody has the right to try to attack the intentions or the reputations of good people, with a history of service to this Town, and who have made Wilmington families their top priority for decades.

Lou Cimaglia
