It seems like several times a week, we see an entry that Verizon solicitors are reminded of the town bylaws and need a permit. Here’s the deal: they already know that. They’re just ignoring our laws. Stop with the reminders and start fining them.
I second the “START FINING THEM” comment, but what would the fine be? Is that written into the bylaws? We get Verizon solicitors a few times per year (I’m in the Silver Lake neighborhood) and we think it’s pretty hilarious that the solicitors apparently don’t know that we’re already their customers. Makes me think they don’t do their homework on any level!
