10 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (July 13, 2016)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN things to do today in Wilmington on Wednesday, July 13, 2016.

#1)  Wilmington Recreation Department’s 4-week free Concert on the Commons series continues tonight with a cappella sensation Ball in the House from 6:30pm to 8pm. Learn more about the concert HERE.  If you’re going, make sure to bring a few extra dollars to buy a drink or snack from the Wilmington High School Band Parents booth! #2) The Boston Bruins Developmental Camp continuestoday at Ristuccia Arena (190 Main Street). A public practice is scheduled for 10am. Admission is free. Learn more HERE.

#3) Wilmington children are invited to a Summer Safety Night from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Cowabunga’s in North Reading (265 Main Street).  Learn more about the event, sponsored by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, HERE.

#4) The Wilmington Board of Appeals meets at 7pm at Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE.

#5) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding THREE programs — a Device Drop-In (2pm-3pm); Read to Zoey (6:30pm-7:30pm); and Most Interesting Trends in Science and Technology (7pm-8:45pm).  Learn more and register HERE.

#6) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its normal Wednesday activities — SBF Exercise (9:45am); Special Exercise (11am); and Country Line Dancing (1pm). Learn more HERE.

#7) The Wilmington Police Department offers safety seat installs at the Wilmington Public Safety Building (1 Adelaide Street) every Wednesday, 10am-2pm. No appointment is necessary, but calling ahead at 978-658-5071 is recommended. Learn more HERE.

#8) The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. All books are $2 or less!  Every penny of every sale benefits the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
