Helen E. (Marchefski) DeLisle – 89, of Tewksbury and formerly of Wilmington, died Monday, September 7, 2015 at Lowell General Hospital, Saints Campus in Lowell. She was the wife of the late Ralph F. DeLisle, Sr.
Born in Boston, MA on February 26, 1926. She was raised in Wilmington and was a graduate of Wilmington High School. Helen worked as a secretary for Raytheon and Sylvania.
Helen was a homemaker and a dedicated mother of seven children. She has been a resident of Tewksbury for the past three years.
Family members include her loving sons, Ralph F. DeLisle, Jr. and William G. DeLisle, both of AZ, Stephen P. DeLisle of North Reading and David DeLisle of Billerica; daughters, Sandra A. (DeLisle) Chavez of Las Vegas, NV, Frances M. (DeLisle) Fay of FL and Dolores DeLisle of Duxbury; her sister, Pauline Riggs of Keene, NH. Also survived by 24 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Her Funeral will be held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Friday, September 18 at 11 AM, calling hours will be held prior to the service from 9 to 11 AM. Interment will be held in Wildwood Cemetery in Wilmington.
Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice.
