WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, October 17, 2026:
A Citizens Bank employee reported a male party attempted to cash a fraudulent check. Police responded, but male had already left the scene. (9:19am)
A Dollar Tree employee reported vehicles keep parking vehicles in front of the entrance/exit to the store. Police spoke with manager, who agreed to help move the cars along. Dollar Tree will put up signs preventing people from blocking the entrance. Manager will call back if help is needed. (4:14pm)
A Mayflower Detox employee requested police to remove ex-patient who is no longer welcome. Police responded. Ex-patient left willingly and waited for a ride outside Pizza Mia. (8:01pm)
