WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for July 9, 2026

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, July 9, 2026:

O. Olatilu (24, Wilmington) was arrested on a warrant. (10:46am)

A caller reported a vehicle struck a fire hydrant on Salem Street. No injuries noted. Vehicle towed. Water Department responded to inspect hydrant. (11:53am)

A Wildwood Street caller reported an Amazon driver was sitting on his property. When caller asked him to leave, he refused. While on the phone with the police, the Amazon driver did eventually leave and head towards Woburn Street. (4:50pm) Caller reported Amazon driver returned to argue with him. Police responded and was unable to locate vehicle. (5:43pm)

Police came across four Verizon solicitors on Salem Street. They were given the town bylaws and advised of the rules and regulations. Manager will rectify issues moving forward. (6:37pm)
