The 2026 Wilmington Concerts on the Common series continues tonight, from 6:30pm to 8pm, with The Reminisants. The Reminisants have been delighting audiences of all ages throughout New England since 1973. The band specializes in Classic Hits and Golden Oldies from the ‘50s through the ‘70s, playing a collection of great music appealing to all kinds of musical tastes and generations. Admission is free of charge. Bring your chairs/blankets and relax to the sweet sounds of summer. This popular concert series is organized by the Wilmington Recreation Department.
The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following activities and events: World Cup Party (3pm-5:30pm) and AP Calculus Prep (4pm).
The Wilmington Senior Center (130 Main Street) is holding the following classes and activities: Blood Pressure (9am); Special Exercise (9:30am); Bocce (10am); Beginners Tai Chi (10:30am); Mexican Train (10:30am); Bingo (1pm); Cards & Games (1pm); Poker (1pm); and Fun Singers (1:30pm). The Wilmington Police Department is conducting Child Safety Seat Inspections and Installations at the Public Safety Building (1 Adelaide Street) between 10am and noon.
