WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, July 7, 2026:
A caller reported a baby racoon climbed into the rim of his tire. Vehicle was taken to AAA and put on a lift. Raccoon was removed and Animal Control Officer will return raccoon to area of where the mother previous was. (8:36am)
A Mill Road caller reported a female party was knocking on people’s doors saying she works for Verizon and asking to use the restroom. Police responded. Solicitor was advised she needed a permit. She was waiting for a ride. (4:41pm)
A caller reported vehicles were passing a school bus during pickup on Lake Street. (6:46pm)
