Rocco’s Restaurant and Bar (193 Main Street) is holding a fundraiser for Amir Benfeddoul — a 5-year-old recently diagnosed with Leukemia — from 4pm to 7pm. The event will include a buffet, guest appearances, raffles, silent auctions, music and games. Tickets cost $40 per person. Kids under 10 are free. The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is open for free tours from 10am to 2pm.
Town Beach at Silver Lake is open from 10am to 6pm. Wilmington residents, with proof of residency, may use the beach at no charge. Non-residents can purchase day passes at the Beach for $10 per person (ages 3 and up).
