WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, July 5, 2026:
Police tried to serve a warrant, but person is now homeless and working in Peabody. Peabody Police Department contacted. (9:44am)
Fire Department responded to a mulch fire on Ballardvale Street. (1:13pm)
A party found a credit card while walking on Carter Lane and dropped it off at the station. Police contacted owner. (4:15pm)
A caller reported she struck a pothole and then a tire *in the roadway on Lowell Street, near Red Heat Tavern. Police responded. Vehicle had minimal damage. Tire was moved off to the side of the road and DPW was contacted. (8:57pm)
