WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 10 things to do in Wilmington on Wednesday, July 8, 2026:
The 2026 Wilmington Concerts on the Common series kicks off from 6:30pm to 8pm with 4EverFab. 4everFab is a Beatles tribute band that focuses on authentically recreating the sound of the “Lads from Liverpool.” Listen closely and you will appreciate their tag-line: “The Beatles ~ Nicely Played!” Admission is free of charge. Bring your chairs/blankets and relax to the sweet sounds of summer. A rain date of Thursday, July 9, 2026 has been set. This popular concert series is organized by the Wilmington Recreation Department.
The Town’s Yardwaste Center, located on Old Main Street, off of Main Street at the Woburn line, will be open from 8am to 2pm. No contractors or commercial vehicles will be allowed. The drop off of leaves and brush is permitted for Wilmington residents only. Wilmington residents wishing to use the Recycling Center will need to purchase a punch card for $15 which will be good for 5 visits to the Recycling Center. The punch cards may be purchased Monday through Friday (8:30 AM to 4:30 PM) at the Tax Collector’s Office at the Town Hall at 146 Middlesex Avenue. You will be asked to present your punch card and a photo ID at the entrance to the facility.

The Wilmington Senior Center (130 Main Street) is holding the following classes and activities: Blood Pressure (9am); Special Exercise (9:30am); Bocce (10am); Beginners Tai Chi (10:30am); Mexican Train (10:30am); Cards & Games (1pm); Poker (1pm); Fun Singers (1:30pm); Movie Day (2pm); and Strength & Stretch (2pm). The Wilmington Police Department is conducting Child Safety Seat Inspections and Installations at the Public Safety Building (1 Adelaide Street) between 10am and noon.
