WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for June 24, 2026

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, June 24, 2026:

A Shady Lane caller reported a male was soliciting in the neighborhood and ignored their posted “no soliciting” sign. Police responded. Male was from Eco Shield. He was transported to Dunkin’ on Middlesex Avenue. He was advised of permitting rules. (12:06pm)

A caller reported an e-bike and backpack was unattended under the bridge on Burlington Avenue. School Resource Officer contacted parent. Police responded and located at least 3 juveniles on train tracks. Police advised them and will follow up with their parents. (12:08pm)

Police located 3 juveniles on train tracks on Middlesex Avenue, near Elia’s Country Store. 2 were on eBikes. Police told juveniles not to trespass on tracks. (1:11pm)

Caller reported her dog attacked a bunny in her yard, which then got stuck in a net. (4:27pm)

E. Martins (47, Billerica) was served a summons for License Plate Violation and Unregistered Motor Vehicle. (7:50pm)

During a check of the carnival, police saw a group of 6 juveniles running behind the old Senior Center. They were advised of not being in carnival area after closing. No damage was observed. (10:46pm)
