Cell Phones, Anti-Discrimination, Key Appointment, Contracts & More On Agenda For June 24 School Committee Meeting

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington School Committee meets this Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 6pm in the Town Hall’s Hearing Room.

There are some noteworthy items on Wednesday night’s agenda, including:

— The School Committee will receive an update from the Superintendent on the new cell phone policy implementation.

— The School Committee will also receive an update on transportation services from the Superintendent, as well as the formation of an anti-discrimination working group.

— The School Committee will appoint the district’s new Director of Finance.

— The School Committee will vote on the new Food Services Employee Contract.

— The School Committee will consider approving updated polices on admission of transfer students; homeless students; military children; children in foster care; and school choice.

— The School Committee will also receive subcommittee reports from members, and public comments from the audience.
