WILMINGTON, MA — Internationally known Wilmington dog agility trainer Andy Winther has won the prestigious 2026 American Kennel Club (AKC) Premier Cup that was held in the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
The invitation-only dog agility competition attracts the most elite dog handlers from around the country.
Andy and his trusty dog Zoom-Zoom finished 7th in the 20-inch preliminary rounds with lighting fast qualifying times and emerged as the #1 Team in the final round when all elements of perfect handling and flawless performance clicked together.
The competition will be broadcast nationally on ESPN in the upcoming weeks.
