Celebrating Graduates, Honoring Retirees, Handbooks, Policy Changes & More On Agenda For June 10 School Committee Meeting

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington School Committee meets this Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 6:30pm in High School’s Large Instruction Room.

There are some noteworthy items on Wednesday night’s agenda, including:

— The School Committee will honor retiring Wilmington Public Schools employees. A reception will take place in the WHS Courtyard from 5:45pm to 6:30pm.

— The School Committee will receive an upcoming on the Performing Arts Department from teachers Mike Ferrara and Samantha Prindville.

— The School Committee will consider approving the 2025-2026 handbooks for the Wilmington High School and Wilmington Middle School.

— The Superintendent will celebrate the Class of 2026.

— The School Committee will receive a presentation on recommended changes to the Curriculum and Special Education Leadership and Instructional Support.

— The School Committee will review changes to 8 policies in its manual, including time-out, seclusion and physical restraints of students; administration of medication to students; homeless students; children in foster care; military children; and school choice.

— The School Committee will also receive an update from its Middle School representatives, as well as subcommittee reports from members, and public comments from the audience.
