WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Select Board meets this Monday, June 8, 2026 at 7pm in the Hearing Room at the new Town Hall.
There are some noteworthy items on Monday night’s agenda, including:
— The Select Board will hold public hearings regarding requests from RMLD and Verizon to move relocate polls on Salem Street and Gowing Road.
— The Select Board will hold a public hearing regarding revised rules and regulations for alcohol licenses in town. The Select Board will then consider adopting an updated alcohol license fee schedule.
— The Town Manager will provide an update on the Request for Information regarding the Buzzell Senior Center. The Select Board will also receive a letter from the Buzzell family regarding the building.
— The Recreation Director will provide information about a grant his department recently received from SMILE (Small Miracles in Life Exist).
— The Select Board will be shared letters announcing the reappointment of Brad Jackson, and the appointments of Sivakumar Mallaiyasamy and Dylan Semple, to the Finance Committee.
— The Select Board will consider adopting revised Board Policies and Procedures.
— The Select Board will consider signing Town Counsel’s contract for FY27, and an intermunicipal agreement for regional housing services.
— The Select Board will consider approving the Republican Town Committee’s use of the town Common for an event on September 12, 2026, and a block party on Moore Street on July 2, 2026.
