WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for May 30, 2026

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, May 30, 2026:

Police responded to dozens of calls regarding downed trees, branches and wires throughout the day.

An Ashwood Avenue caller reported a mosquito control door-to-door solicitor was in the area. Police responded and advised solicitor to stop until they obtain the appropriate permit. They were sent on their way. (1:13pm)

A caller reported she lost her pink iPad in a black case. She left it on the top of her vehicle and traveled from Tewksbury to Wilmington. She is unsure where it fell off. (7:40pm)

A caller reported a couple of juveniles in a car, with at least one on the hood, driving slowly down Carter Lane. Police responded and could not locate vehicle in question. (10:28pm)

Police was flagged down by a motorist near the 93 North Exit 31 ramp on Lowell Street. Operator said they witnessed a vehicle pull onto 93 South going in the wrong direction. Vehicle then made a U-Turn and re-entered. Vehicle then pulled over to shoulder in high speed lane. Police notified State Police. (11:15pm)
