WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, May 26, 2026:
S. Maysonet (36, Lowell) was served a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License and Speeding. (9:17am)
Police removed two deceased birds from Beach Beach on Grove Avenue. (10:03am)
D. Rishton (60, Reading) was arrested for Failure To Stop For Police and Negligent Operation Of A Motor Vehicle. (2:20pm)
A driver struck a pole on Shawsheen Avenue. Road was closed down at Lake Street. RMLD and Verizon notified. Driver was transported to Lahey Hospital with wrist pain. Vehicle was towed. Driver was cited for marked lanes violation. (4:07pm)
A walk-in party reported a note left on her vehicle in the Market Basket parking lot which read “We know what you did. We have your plate and have called the cops.” Police confirmed no entry or report had been made. (4:23p)
