WILMINGTON, MA — Maureen A. (Tierney) Crowley, of Wilmington, formerly of Medford, passed away on Wednesday, May 27th. She was 85. Born in Brockton, Ma, raised in Philadelphia, she lived most of her life in Medford. She was the cherished daughter of the late William E. and Rita (Wild) Tierney.
Maureen spoke fondly of her position as a Certified Nursing Assistant and an Activities Director. She was active in the community all her life; Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Volunteered in various positions to help out where she enjoyed working for the city of Medford and St Raphael’s.
Maureen was the devoted mother of Paul Crowley Jr and his wife Kimberly, William Crowley and his wife Lynne, Lawrence Crowley and his wife Kimberly, Mariann Puopolo and her husband David, and Kathleen Parker and her husband Wesley. She was the loving Nana Mo of Jessica, William Jr., Michelle, Christopher, Korey, Jaclyn, Lucas, Alexandra, Mia, Georgia, Nicholas, Cameron and Vincent. She was the caring Gigi of Lyla, Sawyer, William III, Sullivan, Scarlett, Aubrey, Gia and Alessia and the dear sister of William Tierney Jr. and his wife Beverly, and Mariann Abear and her husband Daniel.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Maureen’s family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Saturday, June 20th, from Noon to 2 PM, concluding with a service at 2 PM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Maureen’s name to Saint Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, MA 02155.\
