The Class of 2028 at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School is hosting a Car Show from 10am to 2pm outside the school (100 Cook Street, Billerica). The community is invited to check out the amazing lineup of show cars while enjoying food trucks, music, raffles, and trophies. All proceeds from the event will go toward supporting the Class of 2028.

A Kars-N-Koffee Cruse-In will take place in the parking lot of Frangos (35 Lowell Street) every Sunday, from 9am to noon, through October.

The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm.  Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.

TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected.  WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.

CANS WANTED: Wilmington’s Cub Scout Pack 136 and Boy Scout Troop 136 are currently collecting returnable cans and bottles to help support their Scouting programs. Learn more HERE.
