5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Saturday, May 16, 2026: Car Show At Friendship Lodge; WHS Baseball Car Wash; WPS Art Show

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Saturday, May 16, 2026:

The Friendship Lodge (32 Church Street) is hosting a free Car Show from 11am to 2pm. In addition to classic cars and modern muscle cars, this family-friendly event will feature live music from the Infra-Red Band, food and concessions.

The Friends of Wilmington Baseball is holding a Car Wash Fundraiser from 9am to noon in the Wilmington Fourth of July Building’s parking lot (142 Middlesex Avenue). Wilmington High School baseball players will be washing the vehicles and accepting donations via cash and Venmo.

Wilmington Public Schools will hold its 14th Annual Art Show on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 6pm to 8pm, and Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 10am to 1pm, in the Wilmington Middle School Cafeteria. Selected artwork from all grade levels and all eight schools will be on display. Admission is free. Students, families, and the general public are invited to this popular event, which is sponsored by the Wilmington Education Foundation.

The Tewksbury Garden Club invites Wilmington residents to its annual Plant Sale, from 9am to 2pm, on the front lawn of the Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street). A large assortment of locally grown plants will be for sale, including: perennials, annuals, indoor plants, vegetables, herbs, butterfly attracting plants, and pollinators & native plants. Plant sale proceeds help support town gardens, scholarships and various local community groups. Customers can pay with both cash and credit/debit cards.

The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. 100% of all proceeds support the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.

Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) hosts karaoke from Winnell Entertainment on Saturdays beginning at 8pm.
