WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Friday, May 15, 2026:

The 2026 Wilmington Unified Games will hold at Alumni Stadium at Wilmington High School at 10am. The public is encouraged to attend for support the athletes.

Wilmington Public Schools will hold its 14th Annual Art Show on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 6pm to 8pm, and Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 10am to 1pm, in the Wilmington Middle School Cafeteria. Selected artwork from all grade levels and all eight schools will be on display. Admission is free. Students, families, and the general public are invited to this popular event, which is sponsored by the Wilmington Education Foundation.

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events and activities: Needleworkers (10am); Drop-In Storytime (10am); and Switch It Up! Video Game Club (3:45pm).

The Wilmington Senior Center (130 Main Street) is holding the following classes and activities: Zumba (9am); Woodcarving (10am); Just Stretch (10am); Bocce (10am); Sewing (noon); Pickleball (noon); Chair Yoga (noon); Women’s Billiards (12:30pm); Poker (1pm); Chess (1pm); Fit N Trim (1:30pm); Estate Palnning (2pm); and Cornhole (2pm). Matthew Lawler, sophomore at Wilmington High School, recently founded “The Golden Years Initiative.” In partnership with the Senior Center, Lawler is hosting a kick-off estate planning event with Attorney Alexander McIsaac from Kalabokis Law, PLLC at 1:30pm at the Center. Wilmington seniors are invited to learn valuable advice and practical planning tips: Estate planning; Family law; and End-of-life financial considerations. TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected.  WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
