WILMINGTON, MA — Residents are invited to participate in Memorial Day observances commencing on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 8:30am with the decoration of all squares and memorials. Decorating will begin with the monuments at Town Common. The general public, as well as families of veterans with parks, squares and memorials, are invited to attend.
On Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 8am, veterans’ graves at Wildwood Cemetery will be decorated. The public is invited to participated.
Wilmington’s Memorial Day Parade will begin on Monday, May 25, 2026 at 10am. The route is Main Street, to Church Street, to Middlesex Avenue, to Wildwood Cemetery. Parade formation begins at 9:30am in the Market Basket parking lot. (All youth groups form at the Wilmington House of Pizza parking lot.)
The Memorial Day ceremony will be held on Monday, May 25, 2026 at 11am the Wildwood Cemetery to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Residents are encouraged to participate in Memorial Day events and remember all those who have served, and those who have given their life, to defend our freedom.
