WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for May 5, 2026: 13 Parking Tickets Issued On Adams Street During High School Event

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, May 5, 2026:

A caller notified a mother duck was running in the roadway on Main Street due to its ducklings falling into a sewer drain. DPW notified. State Environmental Police rescued ducklings and released duck and ducklings at Rotary Park. (6:58am)

W. Haley (66, Somerville) was arrested for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License (Subsequent Offense) and Crosswalk Violation. (12:04pm)

Staff from Milestone Group Home reported a female juvenile left the program on foot. Staff followed her to Pizza Mia. Police responded. Juvenile got into vehicle with staff and headed back to program. (1:37pm)

A passerby reported a scooter underneath the front bumper of a car on Main Street. Police responded. A juvenile on a scooter was struck by a car. Juvenile had laceration to the leg. Juvenile’s mother responded to scene. (4:33pm)

Police responded to parking complaints on Adams Street during large event at high school. 13 parking citations were issued. Vehicles were moved. Cones were placed in restrictive zones. (4:47pm)
