WILMINGTON, MA — We are excited to announce the addition of a new Mobile Precinct trailer to the Wilmington Police Department fleet.
The new trailer will serve as a valuable resource during large-scale community events and major public safety incidents, providing our officers with a larger, more modern workspace to support operations in the field.
This trailer replaces our former community policing trailer, which faithfully served the Town of Wilmington for more than 25 years. While the old trailer served us well over the decades, it was time to retire it from service and move toward a more capable and modern platform.
The new Mobile Precinct is significantly larger and includes multiple workstations to support officers and incident command staff during critical incidents and community events alike.
A special thank you goes to Wilmington’s own Wrap Solutions for the outstanding design and graphics package. Their work helped turn this trailer into a sharp-looking addition to our fleet that we are proud to put into service.
Residents are invited to stop by and check out the new Mobile Precinct during Wilmington’s annual Fun on the 4th Festival, taking place June 25-28. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
