Below is an announcement from the Wilmington Good Guys Committee:
WILMINGTON, MA — On Friday, May 8, 2026, John Wallace and Robin Theodos were inducted as the newest recipients of the Wilmington Good Guy Award at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall. They were recognized for their many years of providing selfless assistance to Veterans, Scouting, the Masonic Lodge and the Wilmington Senior Center.
State Senators Barry Finegold and Bruce Tarr, State Representative David Robertson, Town Manager Eric Slagel and Select Board Chairman Frank West were among those who spoke of the contributions that John and Robin have made to so many people and organizations in Wilmington over the years.
Wilmington native and former Good Guy Steve Bjork was the Master of Ceremonies for the evening and provided an evening of laughs and good natured observations.
Thank you to all of our Guest Speakers who provided reflections on the impact that John and Robin have had on their Organizations and friendships. Thank you to Chris at Rocco’s Restaurant for proving our great buffet meal, to Dave Guisti and Kevin Brennan at the K of C for hosting and their assistance in set-up and break-down, to Tom Pazyra and Don Leard for video taping the event for the family and friends, and to Elijah at WCTV for taping the evening for future broadcast. Thank you to all who sent nomination letters in support of all nominees, and to those who were in attendance to make this a memorable evening for John and Robin.
