Dear Editor,
As Election Day is nearly upon us, I am writing to give my support to Select Board Candidate Rob Fasulo. Insomuch as I am expressing my own individual and personal support here, I am also asking that my fellow voters do the same. Well above the “candidate” title that comes with such an endeavor, Rob is far more so a family-centric and town-committed person. It is these two attributes that give him his drive and from which I derive my own enthusiasm in offering him my support and my vote.
I have known Rob for many years but over the past few I have come to know even better his personal approach to town-wide issues. Most importantly, I have come to know his abilities to be a collective voice for the people of this town and to be a conduit of those messages through to town government.
Long before his decision to run for a seat on the Select Board came about this year, Rob was and has been front and center in an engaging role in town affairs. Happily, I was able to join him in what I believe was one of the most important endeavors in the arena of public participation in the town government in recent years. Not was it simply just a matter of public participation but rather it was an affirmation of the importance of the voice of the people.
The Buzzell Senior Center Special Town Meeting was born directly out of Rob’s vision for the town’s future and by a need for our fellow citizens to be able to take part in that future. Obstacles were almost immediately encountered, but Rob remained focused. He spoke to the people. He listened to the people. He worked with the people. He remained committed to his word, and he spoke that word at the town meeting. There were no guarantees but through Rob’s tireless commitment people that thought they were silenced or dismissed or forgotten were allowed to be heard.
It is that dedication to the people; it is that quality above all else that makes Rob Fasulo the ideal person for the people of Wilmington.
I hope that my fellow residents will join me in voting for Rob Fasulo for Select Board on April 25, 2026. He is eager to be your voice for the future!
Sincerely,
Paul L. Chalifour
