ENDORSEMENT: Wilmington Democratic Town Committee Endorses Gary DePalma For Select Board

Below is an announcement from the Wilmington Democratic Town Committee:

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Democratic Town Committee strongly endorses Gary DePalma for re-election to the Wilmington Select Board.  Gary has demonstrated his leadership qualities through his support of four major subject areas: budget, public safety, education and economic development:

— At a time when the Trump Administration has drastically cut federal programs affecting Wilmington residents, Gary has pushed to address their ongoing needs, while staying within the budget constraints of Proposition 21/2.

— Gary has been a long-time supporter of the fire substation and has strived to ensure overall public safety in the community.

— Gary fully supported the construction of the new elementary school to address the ongoing education needs of the community, unlike his opponents.

— A long-time advocate for small businesses, Gary recognizes that a positive attitude toward business can result in jobs, services and revenue that benefit the Town of Wilmington.
