WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, December 25, 2025:
A mother reported an Uber left with her 7-year-old and 10-year-old children while she went back inside to get luggage. Mother located vehicle at Main Street and Lowell Street. There was a miscommunication between the mother and driver. Children were returned to their mother. (5:03am)
A caller at Metro At Wilmington Station reported someone was banging on her door a few minutes ago. Police responded. Knocking may have come from someone playing ‘ding dong ditch.’ Caller was advised to call back if it happens again. (4:39pm)
A caller reported tires in the roadway on Ballardvale Street. Police responded and moved tires off the road. (4:40pm)
A caller reported a Chevy Equinox was doing donuts in the Market Basket Plaza parking lot with kids hanging out the window and no headlights on. Vehicle left as police was arriving. (10:09pm)
