Wheelchairs To Be Donated To Hurricane Relief Efforts Were Stolen From Friendship Lodge; Police Asks For Public’s Help

Below is an announcement from the Wilmington Police Department:

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Police Department is investigating the theft of 6 wheelchairs from the Friendship Lodge located at 32 Church Street.

The theft occurred sometime between Friday, November 9, 2024 at 11am and Saturday, November 10, 2024 at 11am.

If anyone has any information or crime tips regarding this theft, please contact the Police Station at 978-658-5071.

The items were stored here prior to being donated to the hurricane relief efforts in North Carolina by local groups.
