WILMINGTON, MA — Wesley F. Williams, Jr., “Wes”, age 37, a long-time Wilmington resident, formerly of Lexington, passed away suddenly on April 16, 2023.
Wesley was born on February 24, 1986, at Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, IL; he was the cherished son of Wesley F. Williams, Sr. and Patricia A. Taylor Williams. Wesley was raised in Lexington, MA before moving to Wilmington, MA during his high school sophomore year. He graduated Wilmington High School with the Class of 2004.
Following graduation, Wesley attended ITT Tech, where he earned his certificate in Technology. He went to work for a technology company and proved to be an asset to the company. Wesley was very smart and learned very quickly; he earned several promotions and was working as a Senior Information Technology Engineer at the time of his passing.
Wesley had an intense passion for movies and music; he loved to entertain people and tell stories. Wes had an incredible talent for producing movies, owning his own movie production company called Camp 9 Films. Wes’s videos could be found on YouTube and other social media platforms. He enjoyed directing and manipulating all genres of music along with producing, directing and videography to go along with movie and music videos.
In his spare time, Wes enjoyed golfing, playing football, basketball and shooting pool. He also loved outdoor sports such as snowboarding and skateboarding of course in his younger years. Wes recently started to travel extensively which he enjoyed very much. Wes loved spending time with his family and hanging out with his friends. That is just who he was!
Wesley will be remembered as an inspiration to his family; whatever Wes put his mind to, he accomplished. He was very driven and followed his dreams. He will be remembered for his magnetic personality; he was funny and easy to be around. Wes lived a full life in his short thirty-seven years and left an unforgettable mark on his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Wes is survived by his parents Wesley F. Williams, Sr. and Patricia Taylor, his brothers, Terrell Seaines and Silas Williams and his sister Angelina Taylor Brooks all of Wilmington, MA. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Thursday, April 27th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, April 28th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
