10 Things To Do In Wilmington On Saturday, April 22, 2023: Town Election, Town Clean Up Day, Little League Opening Day, Shriners Circus

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 10 things to do in Wilmington on Saturday, April 22, 2023:

• The 2023 Annual Town Election is TODAY. Polls are open from 8am to 8pm. Voters in Precincts 1-3 vote at the Boutwell School. • Today is Town Clean Up Day! Spend some time picking up trash around Wilmington, then bring your bag of trash to the Wildwood Street Parking lot from 10am-12pm. Plus, the Library will be giving away 200 Fraser Fir seedlings, sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Stop by the library from 9am to 5pm to pick up your seedling. • The Shriners will be holding circus performances at 10am, 2pm and 7pm at Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road). Learn more HERE.
• Wilmington Little League is holding its Opening Day. The parade starts at 9:30am. Players will march from the Fourth of July Building parking lot to Rotary Park. Immediately following the parade, there will be an on-field ceremony with special guests and a ceremonial first pitch by a Wilmington veteran. All participating players will receive snacks and goodies, including a hot dog and drink, provided by Kayem, served by the Wilmington Kiwanis Club, plus a bottle courtesy of Gatorade.
• Join the WPD and the DEA in making our communities safer and healthier, by turning in unused and expired medications on National Drug Take Back Day, from 9am to 2pm, at the Wilmington Public Safety Building.
• The Wilmington Democratic Town Committee will host its Annual Scholarship Breakfast on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 10am to noon, at Tremezzo Ristorante (2 Lowell Street). Learn more HERE.
